Overview

Power for your build, without the guesswork

A temporary power pole gives your site metered power until the permanent service is in. A sub pole runs off existing power. A meter pole gets its own service from LADWP or SCE. We supply the pole and install it. You keep building.

The All Site Rentals mascot
Do you pull the permit?

No. You or your electrician pull the electrical permit and book the inspection. We supply and install the pole.

Who arranges the LADWP or SCE hookup?

You or your electrician. The utility energizes the pole after it passes inspection.

How long until I have power?

Usually 3–6 weeks from permit to power-on. Most of that is inspection and utility scheduling.

What amperage do I need?

200 amp suits most residential builds. Bigger or commercial jobs may need 400 amp. Not sure? Ask in your quote.

Overhead or underground?

It depends on how the utility serves your lot. Your electrician or the utility will confirm. We install either.

Do I need to call DigAlert 811?

Yes, before the pole goes in. It's free, and it marks underground lines.

How much does it cost?

Setup from $1,000–2,500, then $95–200 a month. Permits and utility fees are extra.

How long can I keep the pole?

For the life of your build. Your quote sets the term.
